Franchise Models is the table where Magix records all the Models which relate to an Individual Franchise.

Often this table will require maintenance to tidy up historic incorrect and misspelt Model Names and should be done for all Franchises not just the ones sold new.

This is found at Vehicles-System-Franchises-Franchise Models and Service-System-Franchises-Franchise Models.

Once you select a Franchise you will see the Models that relate.




To tidy up this data, select the Franchise Model that is incorrect.

Remember this table is for the Model and not the Variant i.e. Impreza not Impreza WRX.




Either correct the spelling or use the 'Merge with the Correct Model Desc' button to correct all the related records.

Doing this will also mean when you type in a Model Description only the correct ones are suggested.
